Xiaomi is surely one of the most popular smartphone brands in India. And after the success of its online-only retail policy, the Chinese electronics major is now looking to explore the offline segment in its biggest market outside China.
Xiaomi would be opening its first Mi Home Store in Bangalore next week, and has sent out invites for the same. The Store will be showcasing the company’s versatile product line that includes battery packs, headphones, phone accessories as well as the range of Redmi and Mi devices.
The offline store will be unveiled by Manu Kumar Jain, the MD of Xiaomi India — who recently took over the responsibilities of former Group Vice President Hugo Barra after he left to join Facebook.

Xiaomi has witnessed spectacular growth raking $1 billion in sales in just two years of operations in the world's fastest-growing smartphone market. The latest IDC figures put it only behind Samsung as the leading smartphone maker with 10.7 percent of market share.
Other countries that have Xiaomi’s Mi Home stores are China, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
