Finally, the wait is over! Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has been launched in India and will be exclusively available on Flipkart from January 24. Available in Gold, Silver, Gray, Blue and Black colours, the Redmi Note 4 comes with three price variants. The 2GB+32 variant is priced at Rs 9,999; the 3GB RAM+32GB model will cost Rs 10,999 and the 4GB RAM+64GB model is priced at Rs 12,999.
Following in the footsteps of the Redmi Note 3 and Redmi 3S, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is much like its predecessors. Sporting an all-metal body, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display, with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top.
The Chinese company claims that Redmi Note 4 brings the best-in-class thermal execution with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 processor and an Adreno 506 GPU. On the camera front, Redmi Note 4 dons a 13-megapixel rear facing CMOS camera sensor with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and BSI sensor. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a beautification mode.
Whereas Redmi Note 4's predecessor sported 4,050mAh battery, the latest device sports, 4100mAh battery, which as per the company is 25 percent more efficient. Also, the company has supported the device with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MUI 8, and it claims that Android 7.0 Nougat operating system will be rolled out later this year.
Though the company now manufactures fitness bands, earphones, air purifiers, power banks, and other devices, smartphone continues to be the top player of the company enabling the company to cross the $1 billion revenue milestone in India last year.
