Adding to its long list of selfie-focused smartphones, Chinese phone-maker Vivo has launched yet another camera oriented phone- V7+ in India. V7+ packs in a 24-megapixel front camera, and is the first Snapdragon 450 smartphone to launch in the country.
The device features a 5.99-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 2.5D curved glass. The display is almost bezel-less on the side, with 2.15mm bezels. The smartphone is powered by the latest 1.8Ghz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It has dual SIM slots and a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion (up to 256GB card supported).
As the main highlight of the V7+ is its camera, the device sports a 24-megapixel front camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 1/2.78-inch sensor, and a 'Moonlight Glow' soft selfie light. On the rear, there is a 16-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio. Other features include a 3,225mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, USB OTG support, AK4376A Hifi audio chip and Android 7.1 with FunTouch UI.
V7+ is priced at Rs 21,990. While the pre-bookings have already opened, the smartphone will go on sale in India from September 15. It will be available in Gold, Matte Black, and Rose Gold colour variants.
