Vedantu Acquires Doubt Solving Platform Instasolv post Series A investment

Edtech Vedantu has acquired Instasolv, the 2nd largest doubt-solving app in the country. The latter provides solutions to doubts of students from Class 6 to 12 for science, mathematics, IITJEE, and NEET. This is Vedantu's first acquisition in an EdTech company to strengthen its focus in the instant doubt-solving space. According to the company, its tech prowess will strongly complement Instasolv’s instant doubt solving capabilities; thus, leading to a winning partnership in the EdTech space. Earlier in 2020, Vedantu had invested USD 2 Million as part of a pre-series A funding in Instasolv. With this acquisition, Instasolv brings in close to 1 Mn active learners to Vedantu's platform. Additionally, Instasolv will leverage Vedantu's already existing strong credentials in LIVE Classes, tech, product and content.

This also marks Vedantu's growing focus into Tier 2 & Tier 3 towns. These towns have poor access to quality teachers which is a growing challenge. The company states that doubt solving is a key imperative for students.
