In other problem cases, users have been victims of biographical errors like name, gender, age, etc. According to the PTI report, the health ministry stated, “In case any errors are noticed in the certificate, the same should immediately be brought to the attention of the vaccinator, who can then rectify.”

The ministry added, “It may be possible that vaccinator has not updated the beneficiary's vaccination status at the time of vaccination. This may lead to a person to not get a vaccination certificate from the CoWIN system. To eliminate this issue, CoWIN system will soon provide features to remove such errors.”

How to edit errors in covid vaccination certificate if you have taken only the first dose?

In case you have only taken one dose, and the details on the certificate are wrong, you can rectify the mistake when you go to take the second dose. The team member who picked my call advised, “When you go to the vaccination centre the next time, ask the vaccinator to edit errors in the covid vaccination certificate. He/She has the software to edit it. If you still face the problem, you need to call this helpline number.”
