Twitter has rolled out its Moments feature to all users in India, nearly a year and a half after its launch in the US. The new feature will allow users to curate their stories by stitching together multiple tweets into a slideshow.
Moments, which was available earlier to influencers, partners, and brands, appears as a separate tab on the users' profile. “While people were able to view ‘Moments’ from select partners before, they can now make and share ‘Moments’ and tell their own story. People can simply visit the Explore tab on Twitter or Twitter Lite, where they will discover stories unfolding on Twitter every day,” Twitter India said. The Moments feature helps users explore and understand the best of Twitter, regardless of who they follow in an easy to use storytelling format.
“This gives Indians the opportunity to tell their stories globally, sharing the wonderful things that happen every day in the country with the rest of the world,” the company added.

When you click on Moment, you are taken to a tab where you have to enter the title and description. One can start scrolling to dive right into the story with immersive images and auto-playing videos and GIFs. The progress bar at the bottom indicates how much more each Moment has to offer. You can engage directly with a tweet inside a Moment with buttons to retweet and like.
As the new stories emerge, Twitter will add new Moments to these stories to the Explore tab.
