In a recent update, Tinder has added a new feature to the bio area. Since it is difficult to write a perfect bio, you can use these prompts to become conversation starters.
What is the Tinder Prompt?
Dating apps are designed to make finding new friends and dates easily. But even if you’re the laziest swiper in the world you’re still going to have eventually "talk" to the person you swiped (and got swiped back). This is a great opportunities for chatterboxes, but imagine running out of stuff to talk about?
This is why Tinder has introduced Prompts. With these prompts, you can add questions or statements directly to your profile. This way, you’ll be able to better put your personality front-and-centre. Moreover, now you are ready to kickstart a conversation.
Prompts cover a variety of themes: “I’m talking to my pet about…,” “Why hasn’t someone invented..,” and “Two truths and a lie” are all good examples of the options on offer. Just fill in the blanks and catch the attention of someone who truly appreciates your takes.
How to add a prompt?
You can add Prompts to your profile via your profile icon in the top right corner of the app. Hit “Add Media” and then “Text Prompt.” Each Prompt displays as a photo, which can be rearranged just like regular pictures. Some prompts are already there, while new Prompts will appear over time, too, so you can keep things fresh.
The company also added that you can rearrange the order photos. Further, you can display or remove Loops and Prompts at any time.
