Discount broking platform, Upstox has expanded its core leadership team. It has onboarded ex-Amazon, -Sabre, Thippesha Dyamappa to head its US and Bangalore tech team. Bespoke CTO search firm Purple Quarter closed the CxO role based on Upstox's mandate to the team.
As the Chief Technology Officer, Thippesha will oversee Upstox's technology vision, strategy, innovation of products. He will also handle the entire technology org at Upstox. The Fintech sector is undergoing a digital transformation at a fast pace in Indi and the US. Thus, he will help build and support transformational technology systems to scale the next phase of Upstox's growth.

Before Upstox, Thippesha was the Director of Software Development & International Consumer Business at Amazon's Seattle office where he was responsible for a portfolio of technology systems and products. He has had a career spanning over 20+ years. A technical leader and functional expert, he has built best-in-class organizations; innovative, scalable, and operationally excellent systems to support the growth strategies. He has also helped improve customer lives across global geographies.
