The 2017-18 football season has already started. The English Premier League has already commenced from 12th August, while the La Liga is going to begin from 18th August and the German Bundesliga to commence from 19th August. If you love football, your smartphone or tablet can be the perfect companion to your passion, whether it’s checking scores, tweaking your fantasy team or pitting your wits against virtual opponents in games.
Here are some of the apps/games which every football fanatic should have in his smartphone/tablet-
Hotstar-
Star India's online streaming service Hotstar is the official online streaming rights to Premier League matches. It provides highlights, post match conference, and analyses by experts. The Premier League is part of Hotstar's Premium subscription plan which costs Rs 199 per month and offers access to Bundesliga as well.
Forza Football-
Forza Football is the top dog when it comes to promising live scores. You start by choosing competitions and teams to follow – in England, that includes the FA Women’s Premier League and as far down the men’s game as the Northern and Southern Premier Leagues – but can add individual matches that you want to get push notifications about as they play, too. The iOS version has an Apple Watch companion app.
TRANSFERMARKT-
TRANSFERMARKT is the football nerd’s dream website is also available in app format. It’s arguably the best out there for its breadth of appearance data, and though the mobile version isn’t as good as its browser big brother (and also mainly in German) you can find stuff on here that other sites won’t have.
NewsNow-
Newsnow is the worldwide news aggregator is ideal for filtering the news and stories you want to see about your club.
Top Eleven-
Top Eleven is possibly the best mobile management game out there right now. With over 100 million players worldwide, you’ve got plenty of online action to get involved with, and the live player auctions make for entertaining (if often frustrating) events. If you keep up the good work there are trophies and higher levels up for grabs, so no excuses for losing interest here.
Konami PES 17-
If you are looking for a more immersive football game, Konami’s PES 2017 is the best option out there. It runs on the same Fox game engine used in the console version of PES 2017. Player movements in a mobile game have never been this good. Game controls are intuitive and easy to master.
