The USA's tech pool consists of a large number of immigrants. In that case, Donald Trump's immigration order is going to affect the tech industry. Trump initially described a broad immigration ban in a tweet on Monday. But on Tuesday during a press conference, he said that the government will exempt temporary work visas from the order. This may include H1B Visa holders and F1 Visa holders.

The government has announced a 60-days ban on immigrants who are seeking permanent residency in the country. But, most of the green card holders are already working in the US. Also, there is a provision to extend their work Visas, so this proclamation will mostly affect the parents, children and siblings of the residents.

The order might not immediately affect the foreign-born tech workers who hold H1B Visa. However, there is uncertainty. The order could impact the international talent pool long-term. It may also affect the hiring processes of these tech-giants. In another tweet, he added
