The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 launch date has been confirmed on August 23. Samsung has sent invitations for its Unpacked 2017 event happening in New York city that will unveil the next iteration of the disastrous Galaxy Note 7.
The invite features a bezel- less display outline, an unmistakable S Pen stylus, and a brand new tagline- "Do things bigger."
According to rumors, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 will feature all the cutting-edge specs we’ve come to expect in a 2017 flagship phone. Highlights include a 6.3-inch super AMOLED display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, 6GB of RAM, an Exynos 8895 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset depending on the region, dual 12-megapixel rear cameras, a 3,300 mAh battery, and an updated S Pen stylus.
Galaxy Note 8 might also sport a screen to body ratio that's more impressive than 83 percent achieved by Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Looking at the specifications of the Galaxy Note 8, it might give a tough fight to Apple's iPhone 8 expected to be launched a month later.
Samsung will surely be hoping that the new device will help to restore consumer confidence in its Galaxy Note lineup that suffered huge setback courtesy Note 7 debacle.
