After launching Samsung Pay platform for users in India earlier this year, the company has added the ability to pay bills from within the app. According to a report in SamMobile, you can use Samsung Pay to pay your monthly bills including electricity, mobile, DTH, or any other utility bills.
Samsung has also added the ability to add money to your mobile wallet using your credit or debit cards. You can also save bank account and IFSC information of your family and friends when transferring money using UPI. This feature will allow you to save contacts you frequently transfer money to.
Additionally, Samsung Pay has also added the ability to money to Paytm and Mobikwik wallet from the saved credit and debit cards.
Currently, Samsung Pay is only supported on select Samsung devices. Samsung Pay supports both NFC and MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission), that makes it compatible with traditional and NFC-based card readers.
The updated Samsung Pay app is now rolling out to users in India.
