Samsung partners uBreakiFix to offer same-day phone repairs

Humans make mistakes and then there are accidents. In either of the case, our poor mobile phone goes through a lot- cracks, screen splintering just to name a few. And phone repairs can be quite cumbersome needing at times a week's time. But how to do without a phone for so long? Well, Samsung has a fix.

The South Korean smartphone maker has teamed up with uBreakiFix, one of the leading third-party repair services in the United States, which will bring quick repair services to Samsung smartphones when needed.

As a part of the deal, a number of Samsung smartphones will be covered for same-day mobile phone repair service, including the newly launched Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. The partnership is making 300 uBreakiFix repair locations in the United States “Samsung Care authorized”, which means you will get genuine Samsung parts for repairs in your Samsung smartphones.

The authorized Samsung Care Centers will offer front and back screen replacements, battery replacements, port and camera repairs and other in- and out-of-warranty services. The repairs will be handled by Samsung certified professionals who use Samsung tools, too.

In addition to the 300 stores across the US, uBreakiFix plans to add another 200 stores by early 2019.
