In terms of specifications, Galaxy S9 and S9+ are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The S9 houses 4GB RAM whereas the S9+ has 6GB RAM. The S9 comes with 3,000mAh battery while the S9+ houses 3,500mAh battery. The Galaxy S9 and S9+ cameras have a "SuperSpeed Dual Pixel" sensor with dedicated processing power and memory to take high-quality pictures.

The Galaxy S9 features a 5.8-inch display, and the Galaxy S9+ has a 6.2-inch screen. Both the devices sport a maximum thickness of 8.5mm. The fingerprint sensor has been moved underneath the camera module as many struggled with the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

As an alternative to the fingerprint sensor, Samsung has given the device 'Intelligent Scan', a new verification that intelligently uses both iris scanning and facial recognition technology to unlock a user's phone. The front camera on Galaxy S9 shoots a selfie and creates AR emoji out of your picture. You can customise features and use it to express yourself on any app.

The camera UI has undergone a change on the Galaxy S9. It's now a left and right sliding interface just like iPhones.
For power users, the Pro mode packs in a ton of manual features including the option to choose f1.5 or f2.4 aperture. The smartphone also offers Super Slow-Mo feature. At 960 fps, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ make your everyday moments epic with dynamic, Slow-motion videos.

The Super Slow-Mo on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ also lets the users easily create, edit and share GIF files with a simple tap in three playful styles of looping – Reverse Loop, Forward Loop and Swing – to watch the action over and over again. Samsung has introduced a new loyalty program called "Samsung Rewards" where a user can redeem reward points for many products. The program works well with UPI wallets, credit or debit card transactions.

The company is also offering a lot of benefits for the consumers. A cashback of Rs 6,000 can be availed through Paytm Mall. Additionally, users can get a cashback of Rs 6,000 using HDFC credit and debit cards. If you exchange your old Samsung device, you can get an exchange bonus of Rs 6,000 too.
