NEW DELHI, INDIA: It's raining gadgets at Mobile World Congress 2013 (MWC) this year. Since it is one of the most popular events in the world, several companies unveil their products at MWC. One of the gadgets widely in news is the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet PC.
The Korean company announced the Galaxy Note 8.0 on Sunday in Barcelona. The Galaxy Note 8.0 features an eight-inch screen and has the ability to make phone calls, which is missing in Apple's iPad Mini. With Galaxy Note 8.0, Samsung is planning to take on Apple's iPad Mini, which was launched in November last year at $330.

Apart from the above mentioned features, Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with a stylus pen allowing the user to write or draw on the screen, which can be split in two to run various programs at the same time. The Galaxy Note 8.0 will be available for purchase in the second quarter of this year, Samsung said.
