BANGALORE, INDIA: The commercial rollout of Reliance Jio's 4G services seems not very far off now as the company makes its official site, Jio.com live and opens registrations for network trials too.
RJio started with an invite-based 4G services trial among its group employees last year. Last month, it started an employee referral program which allowed Reliance employees invite their friends and families to join the trial.

The RJio site highlights a host of apps available for the users during trial, such as MyJio, JioChat, JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats, JioMags, JioXpressNews, JioDrive, JioJoin, JioMoney, and JioSecurity. You can get more details about the app and what it does. The apps are available across Android and iOS platforms already.
The 4G services details on the site makes Reliance's intention to position Jio very clear, which we discussed already in our previous review. The invite-based trial run seems to have went well as the company recorded an average monthly data consumption was 18 GB and average monthly voice usage was around 250 minutes, in the first month of the trial.
