Rajasthan’s Education Department will now promote digital learning across the state using virtual digital rooms and has partnered with Cisco to establish Digital Learning Solution Rooms (DLSRs) which will deploy virtual digital classrooms across 12 institutes.
Cisco’s Connected Learning solution will be implemented across 12 centres of State Institute for Education Management And Training (SIEMAT) in the state.
The initiative was inaugurated by Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje.
Cisco and SIEMAT have committed to provide 50,000 man-hours of training annually through its virtual digital classrooms.
It will also empower teachers as well as students through innovative approaches to pedagogy and learning, supports the teachers’ professional development, and provides them with tools to implement and manage training.
