Railway recruitment announced the extension for the 1665 job posts application’s deadline till 28th April, which is about to end in 10 days. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) extended the last date for online registration for ministerial and isolated posts, because of the errors in online applications.
As we earlier mentioned, Railway Recruitment 2019 has a total of 1665 posts for the ministerial and isolated category for various posts such as Junior Stenographer Hindi, English, Translator, Cooks, Welfare Inspector, Teacher, Law Assistant and other posts. After receiving lots of applications with multiple errors, the board decided to extend the deadline.
The Railway Recruitment board has advised the jobs' applicants to fill up the minimum educational qualification or combination of qualifications as clearly mentioned in the parameters table.
The online registration of applications is open, eligible candidates still have time to apply online on the official website – indianrailways.gov.in
Selection Process
There will be a Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Stenography Skill Test (SST)/Translation Test (TT)/Performance Test (PT)/Teaching Skill Test (TST) (as applicable) and then a document verification and medical examination.
Age Limit:
Junior Steno, Lab Assistant, Head Cook, Cook – 18 to 30 years
Junior Translator, Staff and Welfare Inspector, Senior Publicity Inspector, Publicity Inspector, Photographer – 18 to 33 years
Chief Law Assistant – 18 to 40 years
Finger Print Examiner – 20 to 35 years
PGTs, TGTs – 18 to 45 years
Pay Scale: As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix. ₹ 19900 / 25500 / 35400 / 44900 / 47600.

Railway Recruitment 2019: Exam Pattern
Professional Ability: 50 questions for 50 marks
General Awareness: 15 questions for 15 marks
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 15 questions for 15 marks
Mathematics: 10 questions for 10 marks
General Science: 10 questions for 10 marks
– Each question will be for one mark each
– 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
