Both countries have been facing lockdown and social distancing. The partnership can bring about technological changes that can lead to curbing or treatment of Coronavirus.
Over 1.6 million people are infected by COVID-19. The disease has brought the planet's major cities and economies to a grinding halt.
It has been 100 days since the Chinese government reported the first coronavirus cases. The country has been reporting fewer coronavirus cases, most of them returnees. In India, cases continue to surge as the nation remains under lockdown. In Japan, too, many cities have declared emergency over the rise of COVID-19 cases. European Union after a lot of arguments between its 27 finance minister have reached a deal to help out its ravaged economies and healthcare systems.
This partnership is a ray of hope in the tech developments as Japan is known to be one of the fastest countries to see tech changes. Science and technology in Japan are mostly focused and prominent in consumer electronics, robotics, medical devices, space exploration and the film industry. Japan is a country that has potential in developing technology.
While Indian companies are also developing technologies, from PPEs to Ventilators, to beat COVID-19, entry of Japan in this time will be a suitable upgrade.
While Japan reported 4,768 cases, 685 recoveries and 85 deaths due to COVID-19, India has crossed the 6000 patients-mark, 504 recoveries and 199 deaths.
