"Today, we launched the Umang Mobile App, which will provide over a hundred citizen-centric services. At the back-end, these services will be catered for by many different departments of the Union and State Governments. This integrated approach will add an automatic layer of 'peer performance pressure', in the working of these departments," Prime Minister Modi said.

Umang will provide you with many services such as whether you need to pay your utility bills, file tax returns, book a gas cylinder or any Aadhaar related query. The Umang app comes with a list of Digital India services such as Aadhaar, DigiLocker and PayGov. Also, any new service launched by the government will be directly integrated into the platform.

Parents can also use the Umang app to check the CBSE results of their kids. The app has social media integration that allows you to connect to Facebook, Twitter and Google. Umang also has multilingual support with as many as 10 languages in addition to Hindi and English.
