Panasonic has launched yet another smartphone in the affordable smartphones category in India. The new device called Panasonic Eluga A4 is priced at Rs 12,490 and is available offline only through Panasonic's authorized dealers.
The device features a 5.2-inch HD display with a 2.5 D glass screen to protect it. Inside, buyers will get a quad-core chipset, clocked at 1.25 GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 128 GB using microSD card.
When it comes to the camera department, the Panasonic Eluga A4 sports a 13-megapixel main camera at its rear accompanied by LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera at the front. The device is backed by a massive 5,000mAH battery.
Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 4G VoLTE and USB OTG. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat along with the company's proprietary ARBO personal assistant that was already present on the Eluga Ray X and Eluga Ray Max. ARBO studies the usage pattern of the smartphone and makes suggestions accordingly.
Looking at the price and its specifications, the Eluga A4 would compete against Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Lenovo K8 Plus and Moto G5S.
