OnePlus releases OxygenOS Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 5T with iPhone X like gesture controls

OnePlus has released Oxygen OS Open Beta 3 for OnePlus 5T users. The latest beta brings some interesting new features such as pick-up gesture switcher which allows users to select whether they want to swipe up or down to receive calls, a security patch that provides additional protection against Spectre, removed Clipboard function, SMS categorization function that is an India-only feature, and bug fixes.

The latest beta build also brings navigation controls that are almost identical to iPhone X. You can turn these on by going into Settings and disabling the navigation bar. After doing so, the navigation bar will be removed and you will be able to perform a few iPhone X-like gestures to quickly navigate through the phone.

You can swipe up from the bottom center of the screen to go back to the home screen if you’re in any app or menu. You can also go back a page by swiping up from the left or right of the bottom of the screen. Lastly, swipe up from the middle of the screen after holding for a bit to bring up the app switcher.

A Reddit user named MisterMrMister has uploaded a video which shows off the new iPhone X style navigation gestures.
