Nutanix promotes Christian Alvarez to Senior VP of Worldwide Channels

In a press release, Nutanix of the enterprises in cloud computing has announced a managerial change.

The company will promote Christian Alvarez to Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels effective immediately.

Who is Christian Alvarez?

Christian Alvarez was the Vice President of Americas Channel, OEM and Distribution. He has been with Nutanix for less than a year. Before that, he was working with Juniper Networks for over 4 years. Before resigning as the Worldwide Head of Channels and Distribution, he has played numerous supply chain managerial roles.

His work at Nutanix involves leading the worldwide channel and partner sales and making strategic direction of Nutanix’s channel partner ecosystem. He has also fostered strategic relationships and developed global sales. He will also work on distribution programs for

• value-added resellers (VARs)
• distributors
• original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
• global system integrators (GSIs)
• Telco/XSP partners

Further, the major achievements of Alvarez at Nutanix includes:

- leading channels to develop impactful multinational strategies to support business objectives

- elevating partner sales and go-to-market programs to deliver business outcomes for customers and partners

- offering new solutions to help partners in the trenches deploy technology for end-users faster and more simply, including FastTrack for VDI and Xi Frame Test Drive

- developing Nutanix's Special Financial Assistance Program to offer immediate financial support to partners by helping to alleviate cash flow concerns and increasing financing flexibility
