Instagram now lets you share your Instagram Stories on Facebook without having to re-upload them separately, according to a TechCrunch report. The feature which was in testing in Portugal last month is now available for the users in the US.
"You now have the option to share your Instagram Stories to your Facebook Stories. We are always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you," a Facebook spokesperson told TechCrunch. You can post your Instagram Stories to Facebook, however, the reverse isn't possible as yet. The company said that it might bring this in the future.
The new feature would cut down the trouble to manually upload Stories on each platform separately. Last month, Instagram had enabled the feature for users to view Stories on both mobile web and desktop.
Additionally, Instagram has also announced a new feature that lets users add a poll sticker to your Stories. Additionally, it is also adding an eyedropper tool that allows you to take colors from your pictures to use on text and brushes, and an alignment tool (which is limited to iOS for now) that should help make sure text and stickers are properly centered on your pictures.
