In its first virtual of 2021, called Spring Loaded, tech giant Apple unveiled a total 7 products while walking through the empty corporate headquarters in Cupertino, California. During the Spring Loaded Apple Event it announced an all-new stunning purple finish for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini. Other list of products include iPad Pro 2021, a new iMac, Apple TV, and AirTags.

Here's everything announced at Spring Loaded Apple Event

1. The new colourful iMac with the M1 chip, and a 4.5K Retina display

The highlight of the Spring Loaded Apple event was the new iMac. It featured a much more compact and remarkably thin design, enabled by the M1 chip. The company states that the new iMac offers a powerful performance with an 11.5 millimeters thin side profile. Fans can order the iMac that is available in seven vibrant colors starting April 30.

The iMac also features a 24-inch 4.5K Retina display with 11.3 million pixels, 500 nits of brightness. It displays over a billion colors, delivering a brilliant and vivid viewing experience. It further includes a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, studio-quality mics, and a six-speaker sound system — the best camera and audio ever in a Mac. Also, Touch ID comes to iMac for the first time. Combining the power and performance of M1 and macOS Big Sur, apps launch with blazing speed, everyday tasks feel incredibly fast and fluid, and demanding workloads like editing 4K video and working with huge images are faster than ever.

The new iMac joins the incredible family of Mac models powered by M1, including MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini, marking another step forward in Apple’s transition to Apple silicon.

2. iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini in a stunning new purple

The company, during the Spring Loaded Apple Event, announced a new colour of the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini. The new finish complements the beautiful flat-edge design of iPhone 12, which features an advanced dual-camera system, Super Retina XDR display with the Ceramic Shield front cover, A14 Bionic, and 5G

3. The next generation of Apple TV 4K

Apple announced the next generation of Apple TV 4K in the Spring Loaded Apple Event. It will deliver high frame rate HDR with Dolby Vision. Thus, it will allow customers to connect to their favorite content with the highest quality. The company further states, “And with an all-new design, the Siri Remote makes it even easier to watch shows and movies on Apple TV with intuitive navigation controls. Together with tvOS — the most powerful TV operating system — Apple TV 4K works seamlessly with Apple devices and services. It will magically transform the living room in ways that everyone in the family will love.”

4. Apple expands the Find My ecosystem with AirTag

Apple expands the Find My ecosystem with AirTag, an iPhone accessory that provides a private and secure way to easily locate the items that matter most, available beginning Friday, April 30. AirTag is a small and elegantly designed accessory that can be personalized with free engraving. It enables iPhone users to securely locate and thus, keep track of their valuables using the Find My app. In the Spring Loaded Apple Event, the company announced that users can purchase AirTag in one and four packs for $29 and $99 respectively.

5. Apple introduces Apple Card Family for better healthy financial relationship

Apple Card Family is coming in May to Apple Card customers in the US. It will require an update to the latest version of iOS. To apply for Apple Card, open Wallet and tap the Add (+) button. During the Spring Loaded Apple event, the company announced Apple Card Family that allows two people to co-own an Apple Card, and share and merge their credit lines while building credit together equally. Apple Card Family also enables parents to share Apple Card with their children, while offering optional spending limits and controls to help teach smart and safe financial habits.

6. Apple Podcast Subscriptions

In the Spring Loaded Apple Event, Apple also unveiled Apple Podcasts Subscriptions. With Apple Podcasts, listeners can discover premium subscriptions from their favorite creators alongside millions of free shows. Starting in May, listeners in more than 170 countries and regions can sign up for premium subscriptions. The subscription will include a variety of benefits curated by creators, such as ad-free listening, access to additional content, and early or exclusive access to new series.

Listeners will be able to enjoy premium subscriptions from independent voices and premier studios, including Tenderfoot TV, Pushkin Industries, Radiotopia from PRX, and QCODE, to leading media and entertainment brands, including NPR, the Los Angeles Times, The Athletic, Sony Music Entertainment, and many more.

7. iPad Pro with the M1 chip and 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display

The new iPad Pro will be available to order beginning Friday, April 30 from the Apple Website and the Apple Store app in 31 countries and regions, including the US. The new 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be available in silver and space gray finishes. Further, the iPad Pro is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations. Thus, it will provide pro customers more room for their apps and content.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro features a new Liquid Retina XDR display that brings extreme dynamic range to iPad Pro, offering a stunning visual experience with more true-to-life details to the most demanding HDR workflows. Cellular models with 5G deliver even faster wireless connectivity when on the go.
