After four months of launching the offline feature on Android and iOS platforms, Netflix has now expanded the feature to PCs also. Yes, now you can download all your Netflix shows on Windows desktop and watch them later.
Netflix is bringing the offline viewing feature on Windows 10, allowing users to watch videos without stable internet.
A company spokesperson confirmed the report to TechCrunch. "Today, the Netflix app will support the downloading feature on Windows 10 laptops and tablets. We are constantly exploring new ways to make this feature available to more members and make it easier for more people to enjoy Netflix on the go," the spokesperson said.
Currently, the feature is limited to a mix of Netflix Originals and select licensed content due to right issues. But, you can still watch shows like Stranger Things, House of Cards, Orange Is the New Black, Narcos, The Crown, Bloodline, Sense8.
Users will have to update the application to download and watch content on offline mode. Similar to the YouTube app, tap the offline button and sit back. Your work is done here.
Netflix is also providing a section called 'Available for Download', that allows you to directly jump to videos that can be downloaded to your device. In “My Downloads” section, you can view the list of your downloaded videos.
The feature is now available to users worldwide, but if you are yet to update the application, you can do it right here.
