NEET UG 2021 Date: NTA to conduct exam in Pen and Paper Mode on August 1, 2021

Only yesterday we reported that NTA will announce NEET UG 2021 dates in a week. But this is very soon! The National Testing Agency has announced the dates, putting an end to many speculations for students.

According to the NTA website, the agency will conduct NEET UG 2021 in 11 languages through Pen and Paper mode on August 01, 2021 (Sunday). The candidates who desire to appear in NEET 2021 are advised to keep visiting the official websites.

Eligibility for NEET 2021

With amendments in 2018 for NEET 2021 eligibility criteria, NTA removed the restrictions on the number of attempts for NEET. Thus, there is no restriction on the number of attempts for NEET 2021. So, as per the NEET 2021 eligibility criteria, candidates will be allowed to appear for the entrance exam as many times as they would like to only if they are eligible.

The basic eligibility requires that students have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology in their Class 12 or HSC examination.

How to register for NEET UG 2021?

NTA will accept NEET UG 2021 application in online format only. The form will soon open on the official website of NEET. The last date for submission of the NEET application form 2021 is probably the second week of April.

To register for NEET 2021, click on the link given above. Read the instructions carefully and confirm that you have read all the instructions by marking the checkbox at the end of the page. Now click on proceed to apply online NEET (UG) 2021, where a new Registration form will open. Enter the following details: Candidate's Name, Mother's Name, Father's Name, Category and PwD status, Date of birth, Gender and Nationality. Enter the ID Details, mobile number and email ID and the Captcha.

Check the details that you have entered with "Preview and Next". If all the details are correct, create a password, choose a security question and answer. Click on OTP Verification and you will receive a 6-digit OTP on your registered email Id/ mobile number. Enter the OTP and submit the registration form. Pay the fees.
