Naveen Chopra to be the new Vodafone India COO

MUMBAI, INDIA: Following the earlier announcement of Sunil Sood to succeed Marten Pieters as the new MD and CEO from April 1, 2015, Vodafone India today announced that Naveen Chopra, Director –Vodafone Business Services (VBS) will succeed Sunil Sood as Chief Operating Officer for the company.

Naveen is with Vodafone for the last ten years and has done stints as CMO and subsequently led successfully Mumbai and Rajasthan Circles as Business Head, before joining the Executive Committee as the Director - VBS.

Over the last five years Naveen has led the VBS into significant growth and expansion into new customer and product segments.
