Myntra founder, Mukesh Bansal has joined food-delivery startup Swiggy and logistics firm Rivigo as a strategic advisor on the company's board.
Bansal, who sold Myntra to Flipkart in one of the biggest e-commerce acquisitions in 2014, held a key leadership role in Flipkart. However, he decided to quit Flipkart in March to cofound a healthcare technology venture CureFit, along with his colleague and former chief business officer at Flipkart, Ankit Nagori.
Before zipping these companies, Bansal met a number of mid-growth-stage startups. "Besides building CureFit, I wanted to work with a few entrepreneurs who are building a large business that could be billion-dollar companies in a few years," said Bansal to Economic Times.
According to the report, Bansal will be advising Swiggy and Rivigo on product and growth strategy, organization building and fundraising.
