Microsoft releases Windows 10 Insider preview build with new improvements

Microsoft has started testing the much-awaited Timeline feature in the latest build of Windows 10. The Timeline feature lets you pick up where they left off if one is switching between Windows 10 devices. It is a quick way to move from one machine to another, much like Apple's continuity feature in iOS and macOS.

The Timeline feature can be accessed through the usual Task View area in Windows 10. Timeline enhances Task View, allowing you to switch between currently running apps and past activities. The feature will also extend to some Microsoft apps on iOS and Android, owing to Microsoft's virtual assistant Cortana.
