Renault-Nissan’s plans of building a self-driving car by 2020 have surely got a boost up with Microsoft’s mix of technologies. The Renault-Nissan alliance has been hard at work in getting its self-driving automobiles out in the open as soon as possible. It was with this aim in mind, that the group hired former Nokia executive Ogi Redzic to lead its connected car efforts.

If things go as planned, the first batch of 10 vehicles with autonomous drive technology will be released by 2020. More cars are expected to follow later depending upon the results from the first crop.
