WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app because of its unique features including video/audio calls, even with multiple people. Soon the platform is going to announce payment feature as well which is currently available in select countries and create Status/Stories as well. But the maximum file size limit is 100 MB, which is quite low.
Telegram
Telegram offers some other unique features like dark mode, secret message, and doesn’t even let the user get details of other people on the group or platform without their consent. The platform recently announced increased file size limit of 1.5 GB which is massive in comparison to other messaging apps.
Facebook Messenger
Facebook messenger can be used to make calls and chats. It comes with a capacity of 100 MB file size, but if you are using Facebook workplace then its will go down by 25 MB only.
Snapchat
The most interesting chat app doesn’t allow you to send images and videos straight from your camera roll. It comes with a video length limit of 10 sec and allows only 2.5 MB of video.
Snapchat is probably is least bothered about the file size limit thus offering only 2.5 MB limit. WeChat also falls in a similar category line where Facebook is and offers a file size limit of 25 MB only.
