WhatsApp has a limit of 256 members in a group, but with Telegram, you can add up to 200,000 members each. Meaning no limit, you can add all your loved ones in a group.

Edit your messages

Once you have sent a message in a group, you cant modify that, can only delete the message in WhatsApp group. But this is not the case with Telegram, you can edit the message, even after sending. Delete to make it disappear for everyone.

Search a message instantly

You have discussed some important points in an office group chat and its been months. Now, you are looking for those conversations, WhatsApp won't help you there. Telegram has a feature to filter out those messages by the sender to make searching easier.

Smart notifications

You are part of a group where one or other person keeps sending some types of messages, good morning, jokes, memes, etc. And you are feeling annoyed, then you can use the mute function for the group and you will only get notifications when people mention you or reply to your messages.

Pinned messages

You can pin a message at the top of the chat screen, this message will appear to all members even if they have muted messages from the group.

Moderation the group

Admin of the group can mass-delete messages, control membership, and pin important messages.

Set group permissions

You don’t want to be a part of group where annoying messages keep coming, then you can restrict permissions to all members from posting specific kinds of content. You can also restrict members from sending messages altogether. But you can do this with the WhatsApp group.
