The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is easing the process to enroll for a new Aadhaar card as well as helping to update Aadhaar information. Recently UIDAI announced the opening of Aadhaar Seva Kendra in 9 cities as well as soon to open new enrolment centers in 44 cities.
The Seva Kendras will provide various services to ease our lives. These services include new enrolments and Aadhaar updates such as an address, biometric data, photo, mobile no, email ID, name, gender, and date of birth. Each center would have the capacity to process 500 to 1000 enrolment and update requests every day.
When you planning to enroll for a new Aadhaar card for yourself or your family member, you need to visit an enrolment center. And to find Aadhaar center nearby, you can do it easily by visiting the UIDAI website. There are three options to locate an enrolment or update center near you –
Search Aadhaar Card Enrolment / Update center by State
Step 1: Visit the official page, there you will see three search options, choose the first one “State”.
Step 2: A form will appear asking for details such as Select State, District, Sub District, Village / City / Town.
Step 3: Provide the details and enter the Captcha Verification code to proceed. Click on the “Locate a center” but and result with a list of centres near you.
Search Aadhaar Card Enrolment / Update center by Postal (PIN) Code
Its simple one-step process, you need to provide your area PIN code and enter the Captcha Verification code to locate the Aadhaar center near you.

As like Postal code, it is also a one-step process. Enter your locality name, city or district and then enter the Captcha Verification code to locate the Aadhaar center near you.
As mentioned above, whether you are looking for new enrolment or want to update Aadhaar card details, these centers can help you with both.
You should be aware that the government of India is linking Aadhar with Voter ID card to identify and deactivate fraudulent Voter ID cards. Also, it's mandatory to link your Aadhaar with PAN. Recently Supreme court has made this mandatory for all and said to use Aadhaar card to file income tax as well as to apply for a new PAN card.
