The times are tough and we are all waiting to hear the news saying- "Govt cancels JEE Mains 2020!". But alas, no such news is out. So we prepare and prepare. Like the previous post, where I gave some references on how to prepare for your Physics paper, this time I am doing Math.
But here's the trick, if you are good at Math, your Physics is good. And the opposite is the same too. That is because you have a good grasp of numbers and the terms play on your tongue. And that is why it is important to have a strong Math while giving your JEE Mains.
How is that possible?
Well, if truth be told, you can't do anything within the month. Anything new. So it is better to brush your old topics. Some important topics are:
Quadratic Equations and Expressions, Complex Numbers, Probability, Vectors, Matrices in Algebra; Circle, Parabola, Hyperbola in Coordinate Geometry; Functions, Limits, Continuity and Differentiability, Application of Derivatives, Definite Integral in Calculus.
Also, the syllabus of class 11th and 12th is equally distributed across the question paper in JEE Mains 2020.
Study Material For JEE Mains 2020 Math
Like I have mentioned before: The offline course for Math is pretty straightforward. RD Sharma’s Objective Mathematics is everything you need and much more. However, for the ones who are a bit sceptical, go try NCERT. For the more faithful in Dr Sharma’s genius, carry on.
The online courses for JEE Mains are much more important here than any other subject because of the amount of knowledge you can absorb. I know that statement is true for all of the subjects, but Math is something different, something better. Therefore, it requires more time to be absorbed in the minds of aspirants. I’ve suggested Mohit Tyagi and again Unacademy JEE for the YouTube channels, as I found them both good. Although, again, it is entirely your call as to what channel you truly like.
Fix up a schedule
I cannot stress this enough. If you are still working as and when you are productive, your motivation will soon leave you. There has to be a study-life-fun balance. Think out a suitable time and sit practising important questions.
Do some mock tests every day, note down your weak points and start practising them.
