JEE Mains 2020: Change your centre city, Photo, Signature on application before July 20

The National Testing Agency issued a notification stating that the application correction facility of JEE Mains 2020 will now be open till July 20 (5 PM). The correction facility is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Earlier, the last date to file for correction was July 15. However, the authorities have extended the dates to give the registered candidates another chance to make the required corrections. Previously, NTA along with the MHRD had said that the new dates for JEE Mains 2020 will be Sept 1-6. This had made a lot of students happy owing to their protests and concerns for health amind the pandemic.

So, even if you do not require correction, just verify all the details. Check if your photograph and signature are correct and latest. NTA will accept corrections in the application form of JEE Mains 2020 (April) till 5 PM of July 20. On the other hand, it will accept the payment fee (if applicable) up to 11:50 PM. Through this facility, the registered candidates can make corrections in the particulars submitted in JEE Mains 2020 application form, choice of exam centres, photograph and signature.

NTA said that they will make all efforts to provide the exam centres as the candidate chooses. However, if NTA grants a different city due to unavailability of centres, then this decision of NTA will be final.

No changes will be accepted by the authorities after July 20. So the NTA has asked the registered candidates to complete the required corrections in the JEE Main application form ASAP.

Request for N.D.A. and N.A. Candidates

NTA has also requested candidates appearing for N.D.A. and N.A. examination to update as ‘Yes’ in the application form of JEE Main. The exam will be conducted by UPSC on September 6. They need the update to ensure that no clash of the schedule happens between JEE Main and N.D.A. and N.A. examination.
