The loose hacking collective Anonymous has launched another wave of attacks against Islamic State (ISIS), taking over social media accounts associated with the group and giving them an LGBT-flavoured makeover.
Anonymous grew out of the infamous 4Chan forum in the late 2000s and announced its war on Isis in 2015 after it took control of almost 100 Twitter accounts post the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris last year.
Now, after a fresh wave of attack on a gay club in Florida, which left 49 people dead, another hacker group WauchulaGhost said it has taken control of more than 200 accounts belonging to ISIS supporters.
While some of the hacked accounts are now suspended by Twitter, three are still online, and apparently still under the control of WauchulaGhost.
