Intex technologies has announced a partnership with Tata Teleservices subsidiary mRUPEE to launch their first mobile wallet service- 'Intex MyWallet'.
"Our collaboration with mRUPEE is to offer the users additional value which is being created right from video, gaming, healthcare, utility, entertainment and e-commerce, all packed in their handsets at fingertips," said Vineet Singh, Head-VAS, Intex Technologies in a statement.
'Intex MyWallet' will offer easy and convenient payment functionalities within the device related to recharge, money transfer, shopping, booking train, movie, bus tickets and more in just one click.
Intex will also launch a retailer portal wherein, the Intex retailers will get opportunities to get a higher share of customers wallet by offering retail assisted services of recharges, bill payments, utilities and money transfer.
For the users, there will be a reward of loyalty bonus for accessing content and other utilities that can be redeemed for talk time and recharges.
MMP Mobi Wallet Payment Systems Ltd (MMPL) is the payments arm of Tata Teleservices Ltd that offers semi-closed wallet under 'mRUPEE' brand.
mRUPEE had previously tied up with IRCTC to provide a payment gateway, allowing users one-tap payments for rail ticket bookings.
