Instagram is back with a new update and this time unlike Stories, only the prospect has been lifted from Snapchat Discover Channels or Twitter's Moments, not the complete product.

Instagram has introduced a new video-curating feature within its Explore section, the magnifying glass icon that will enable users to discover content based on different events happening around the world i.e. to give you front-row experience, even if you are not there physically.

"Starting today, you can experience events as they happen around the world with a new video channel on Explore, which collects the best videos from concerts, sporting events and more. Like the rest of Explore, this new channel is personalized for you and highlights events you might like," wrote Instagram in a blog post.

Right now, the Explore section shows you photos and videos you may like based on who you follow, and what posts you Like. With today's update, Instagram brings a focus to what's happening in real time.

You can head to Explore and watch videos from the show as they're being uploaded to Instagram. Though it's not quite as good as being there, but it's definitely the next best thing.

Depending on your interests, the feed will be personalized and will feature videos from concerts, sports games, and other live events or videos posted within 24 hours of the event.

The blog post further mentioned, “These updates to Explore are currently only available in the United States. We’re working to bring this experience to the rest of the world soon."

That means, we can expect a global roll-out soon.
