Advertising technology company InMobi has hired Marc Steifman as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Marc has over two decades of experience working in investment banking focused on growth companies.
Steifman was previously working as Managing Director and Co-Head of Piper Jaffray’s Technology Investment Banking Group. His experience includes advising on M&A, IPOs and raising private capital across the US, Europe, and Asia.
At InMobi, he will join the executive leadership team and report to InMobi’s founder and CEO Naveen Tewari. He will be based out of the San Francisco office.
“The depth and breadth of his (Steifman’s) expertise will bring in the financial efficacy that InMobi currently needs, while we continue to scale up at exceptional speed,” Tewari said.
The appointment follows the exit of two of the company's co-founders Amit Gupta and Mohit Saxena who stepped down from their positions in 2017. “I am thrilled to join InMobi and the versatile environment that’s currently up for offer at this global company. Finance and business growth have a symbiotic relationship, and I’m thrilled to architect the current inorganic expansion plans that are underway here,” said Marc Steifman, CFO at InMobi.
InMobi recently acquired Los Angeles-based video ad start-up AerServ for $90 million.
