IIT JAM 2021: IISc Bangalore releases updated answer key for all seven papers

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has released the updates answer keys for IIT JAM 2021. The sequence of questions and options in the question paper and the answer sheet may differ, so candidates need not worry about the sequence of the questions. This one is an updated version and the final answer key, after resolving the challenged posted by students. The answer keys were open to challenge during March 1-3, 2021 by paying a fee of ₹500 per question through the JOAPS portal.

Candidates who challenged the answer key provided a detailed answer to the question. If IISc Bangalore found their challenge valid, they refunded the ₹500. Thus, students cannot further challenge the final answer available on the JOAPS webpage. Candidates who appeared in the entrance exam can check and download the final answer keys from the official website.

The question papers and answer keys released are for all seven subjects. They are Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Economics (EN), Geology (GG), Mathematics (MA), Mathematical Statistics (MS), and Physics (PH) papers. The IIT JAM 2021 provisional answer keys came out on February 26 after IISc Bangalore conducted the JAM 2021 examination on February 14.

The result for JAM 2021 is expected on March 20. After that, candidates can submit the application form from April 15 to 28 for admission to colleges. IIsc-B will release the first admission list on June 16; the second and third lists on July 1 and 16, respectively.

About IIT JAM 2021

This year the Indian Institute of Science, (IISc) Bangalore will conduct the IIT JAM. IIT JAM, the national level examination offers admission into M.Sc., M.Sc. PhD, and M.Sc-PhD dual degree etc. programmes. In fact, from 2021, the JAM Board has added economics subject to the list of the examinations and courses from the IITs and IISc. The exam happened on February 14. The result will come out on March 20.
