IIT Dhanbad invites applications for the post of Junior Research Fellow Under DLRL, DRDO (GoI) Project. IIT Dhanbad, popularly known as Indian School of Mines, (ISM) Dhanbad, a public technical and research university located in Dhanbad, India. It is an Institute of National Importance. IIT Dhanbad has 18 academic departments covering Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences and Management programs.
Under this project, the application will develop a compact triple-band circularly polarized dielectric resonator antenna using HFSS/CST MWS for GPS and IRNSS Applications. The title of the project is "Design & analysis of compact triple-band circularly polarized dielectric resonator antenna for GPS & RNSS application"
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The project is sanctioned for a period of one year.
Essential Qualification
The applicant should be M.E./M.Tech. Degree in RF/Microwave Engineering/Electronics Engineering with a minimum of first-class from a reputed institute. In case the class is not specified in degree then minimum 60% marks or 7.0 OGPA will be considered as 1st class. Candidate should be qualified GATE examination.
Desirable Qualification
Working knowledge of Design and Analysis of Microwave Antennas, ANSYS HFSS, CST and MATLAB will be added advantage.
Age and Relaxation
The upper age limit is 30 years at the time of appointment (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Female candidates as per GOI rules)
Fellowship
Rs. 31,000/- per month for one year.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email on the date of interview. Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirement of the project.
All candidates should make their own arrangements for their stay at Dhanbad if required. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
