Idea announces cashback upto Rs 2K on Karbonn mobile phones

Idea Cellular has announced cashback offers for its customers on various Karbonn smartphones and feature phones. The cashback ranges from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 depending on the device and will be available from February 1.

Under the offer, Idea will be providing cashback of Rs 1,500 on Karbonn A41 Power and Karbonn A9 Indian and Rs 2,000 on Karbonn Yuva 2. For A41 Power and A9 Indian (priced at Rs 2,999 and Rs 3,699 respectively), Rs 500 will be credited in the Idea Money wallet at the end of 18 months, and the balance Rs 1,000 at the end of 36 months.

The company said, "To avail the cashback on the smartphones, customers need to have a cumulative recharge value of Rs 3,000 for the first 18 months and the same amount during the next 18 months period." Idea recommends the Rs 169 pack that offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 1GB data per day with a validity of 28 days.

Idea has also announced cashback of Rs 1,000 on Karbonn K310(priced Rs 999), Karbonn K24+(priced Rs 1,199), and Karbonn K9 Jumbo(priced Rs 1,399). Idea said, "For availing the offer on feature phones, Idea customers need to do a cumulative recharge of Rs 2,700 in the first 18 months to get cashback of Rs 500, and another Rs 2,700 between 19-36 months to get the remaining Rs 500."

The company said that the cashback will be provided in the form of talk time to the customer's main account.
