UP Government launched Jansunwai App for migrants- How to register a complaint?

Uttar Pradesh Government has launched the Jansunwai App for registering citizen's grievances or suggestions of migrant workers. This app is also linked to its IGRS portal of Uttar Pradesh Government. The Government will also register the grievances or suggestions through the Web using jansunwai.up.nic.in.

How to make a complaint on the website?

Migrant workers can use the Uttar Pradesh Jansunwai portal website to register themselves. There are separate links on the home page of the portal; for those who wish to return to Uttar Pradesh and for those who wish to return to their native States from UP.

On the Migrant registration portal, workers have to register themselves using an OTP received on their mobile number. Then, they will provide some information with their registration. The government has also warned that the people should fill only correct information otherwise action can be against them under the Disaster Management Act.

The website states:

Samadhan is an integrated system for grievance redressal in Uttar Pradesh to achieve the goal of good governance using the latest technology involving all stakeholders. A citizen can freely and conveniently file a grievance, track the grievance lodged on all important platform and receive a response to his satisfaction both in terms of quality and time. Along with lodging of complaints, a citizen can also interact with Government/Departments/Offices easily and transparently. Complaints from all sources will be available on a single platform to all departments which will improve access, redressal & monitoring.

Also, the government promises to try to make plans for their return. But it also warns that the registration is not a permission to travel between the lockdown. Alternatively, you can also download the jansunwai app from the Google Play Store.

What is Jansunwai App?

According to the NIC, the app is a fast and user-friendly interface that provides registration and tracking of grievance through mobile phones. On this app, the government will provide a unique reference number. Using that, citizens can track the progress of their grievances, send reminders and also give feedback after disposal. After successful registration, the app automatically forwarded the reference to the concerned officer for redressal.

The purpose of the app is to coordinate the movement of migrant workers who wish to return to their native places.
