Google Calendar can now work with Microsoft Exchange thanks to an update by Google

Google is about to give a makeover to its Gmail and Google Calendar on iOS. The new update brings Google’s most convenient feature on Android and on the web finally to iOS including ‘undo’ or unsend a Gmail message that you’ve just sent.

With the revamped Gmail app, though we hope you don't make any typos. However, if you do, Gmail will provide a brief opportunity to 'undo' the sent message. Basically, a new option will pop up, the very moment you click on the 'send' option to save you from any uncalled for embarrassment.

Moreover, with instant search results, now iOS users can swipe left or right on a specific email to archive or delete it. Like a proper app, Google “fresh new look” includes sleeker transitions.

In the blog post, Matthew Izatt, Gmail product manager, said, “With the new app, getting things done on the go is a lot easier — whether you’re trying to find a message your colleague sent you last month or trying to get through your work inbox on a Monday morning.”

As mentioned above, Google Calendar is also getting updated with month view and week in landscape view. Google is also providing additional calendars such as Hindu, Islamic, and Lunar.

“If you often look updates in a non-Gregorian calendar — like Lunar, Islamic, or Hindu — you can now add that calendar to easily see those dates alongside your current calendar,” Izatt added.

Google has also expanded integration with 'Spotlight search' to find your appointments, reminders, and goals, within seconds.
