Competing against Apple Music and Spotify, Google Play Music is levelling up the game by throwing an attractive offer for users. Google is now offering a free four-month unlimited trial subscription to new users who sign up for Google Play Music.

Instead of the three months, now new subscribers will be able to sign up the free trial subscription for four months. Once the trial subscription ends, users will be charged $9.99 per month.

Unfortunately, the promotion is available only to users in the US. *sobbing*

Google is yet to mention the validity date. So, those who are yet to experience Google's music streaming service should sign-up without losing any time.

The service offers up to 50,000 songs from their music library, and users can also listen to custom radio stations on their computer or mobile device. Users running on the free subscription offer will have to settle with ads. However, subscribers who pay $9.99 can avoid ads, listen to over 35 million songs, download music to listen offline, and get access to YouTube Red, which offers ad-free videos, the facility to watch videos offline, as well as access to YouTube’s original shows lineup.

For India users, Google is currently offering one extra month of free trial subscription to Play Music. New users in India get a free trial subscription for two months, after which users are charged with Rs 89 per month. However, after launching the services last month in India, Google provided only a 30-day free trial subscription.

Though we, Indians, are not getting four months free trial subscription offer, we still have an advantage over the US users. That's precisely because, the monthly subscription charge for Indian users is much lower than in the US.
