Google Cloud on Monday announced that they appointing Anil Valluri as Senior Director for Google Cloud in India. Anil V is a global Cloud data services company, NetApp's veteran leader. Valluri will lead Google Cloud to deepen customer engagement, expand on its strategic partnerships and deliver advanced solutions to help companies in India accelerate their data-led innovation.
On the other hand, last week, Google Cloud also appointed Anil Bhansali as VP Engineering, GC, in India. He will lead all software development support efforts for Google Cloud in the country, according to a company statement. Bhansali brings in 29 years of experience from Microsoft. At Microsoft, he led engineering efforts across the company's Office, Search, and Windows divisions.
About Anil Valluri
Valluri last worked as President of India and SAARC operations for NetApp. He spearheaded numerous technology transitions in India for customers across banking, telecommunications, public sector and manufacturing. Before NetApp, he was with Artiman Ventures, venture capital firm at Bay. Here, he was their Entrepreneur-in-Residence who specializes in white-space investments. And before that, he was the Vice President and Managing Director for Sun Microsystems in India.

Google Cloud has a rich list of customers in India, including Dr Reddy's Laboratories, Indiamart, Hero Motocorp, ICICI Prudential, L&T Finance, LIC HFL, Manipal Hospitals, OYO Hotels and Homes, Truecaller, Wipro and others. In March, the company announced plans to expand its presence in India by launching a cloud region in Delhi, adding to its Mumbai region which was opened in 2017.
About Anil Bhansali
Bhansali is joining Google Cloud from Microsoft where he was Corporate Vice President of their Azure cloud division. He was also a site leader for their research and development team in India. Further, during his 28-year career in Microsoft, he led engineering efforts across the company's Office, Search, and Windows divisions.
