It is a community that offers more than guidance with its massive database of knowledge for programmers.

The founder, Sandeep Jain, shares insight on how they have transformed the traditional teaching of computer science.

Our customers at GeeksforGeeks are actually the users of the website. That is, we cater to Computer Science enthusiasts whether it be college students or working professionals. GeeksforGeeks acts as a one-stop destination for them for all their upskilling and placement-preparation-related concerns. If we look at the numbers, GeeksforGeeks caters to about 10+ million individuals across the world. In addition, the website reaches around 1,370,00 unique users each day and gets huge traffic of 4,000,000 pageviews every day.

Meanwhile, talking about the success stories, we regularly get around 1-2 testimonials every single day from our users. They tell us about how we helped them get their dream companies viz. Microsoft, Google, Facebook, etc.

The Challenge

Particularly in the Ed-Tech domain, there are various challenges or pain points in the current times. For instance, technology is evolving so rapidly. Thus, the requirements of the recruiters from the candidates also vary significantly. Individuals are required to stay updated and equip themselves with the latest and in-demand tools and technologies. There are a lot of ed-tech platforms available for individuals. However, not many are trying to work on two major problems of the education world. One, Lack of Quality Education and second, Unaffordability. But, right from its advent, GeeksforGeeks is having the vision to make Quality Education very much affordable and accessible to everyone to get them their dream job or other career goals. And with a similar reason, we provide a majority of the content and other learning resources at GeeksforGeeks free of cost. This is something that allows us to think that we're the right people to help the users.

As I mentioned above, one of the biggest difficulties for us is to provide the latest, worthwhile, and quality content to our users.
