IIT Bombay conducted the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2021) in India from Feb 6-14. Now, as the time to challenge the answer key has passed, students await the results; to apply for their Master's and PhD program or jobs in PSUs. According to IIT Bombay, it will publish the final answer key after verifying all objections by 18 March. After this, it will announce the GATE 2021 result on 22 March.
Further, once it announces the results, candidates can download the result along with the scorecard through the GOAPS portal till May 31.
How to download GATE 2021 Result?
To download GATE 2021 Result, candidates need to log in with their Enrollment ID or Email and Password. Only students who have passed the exam or secured the minimum qualifying marks, can download the GATE Results. Further, the GATE Result will contain the marks obtained by the candidates in the exam, cutoff marks, GATE 2021 score, and the candidate’s rank.
It is an important document for GATE Counselling 2021. So, candidates should retain it till the end of the admission process. The GATE score validity for admission is three years after the date of the announcement of the result. Further, the result is necessary for admission in Master's and PhD programs or jobs in various PSUs.
Steps to Download GATE 2021 Result
• Visit the official website of GOAPS
• Log in by entering email ID or enrolment number and password
• Download the scorecard of GATE 2021 in the form of a PDF.
• Take a print out of the same for future reference.
In case you don't download the form in the given time, IIT Bombay will charge ₹ 500 after the period is over.
Opportunities with GATE 2021 Result
If you qualify for GATE 2021, you can apply to Various PSUs such as HAL, BHEL, ONGC, NTPC, etc. Many Government Organizations also may take your GATE score into account for recruitment purposes. Further, your GATE result can help you apply in foreign universities as well as for MTech and PhD in major engineering colleges in India. Some reports also suggest that you can get a scholarship from the Government based on your GATE marks.
