GATE 2021: Two days left to register, Change in City form to open on October 28

GATE 2021 by IISc is the entrance exam for students applying for Masters and Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture.

GATE 2021 Result Declared on GOAPS website at 10 PM on March 19

Candidates who were unable to decide on the choice of examination city due to pandemic can now make the changes through a one-time change of the exam city choice for GATE 2021 examination without paying any extra fees, as per the official notice. The last date to make the changes is November 13, 2020.

Last date of registration for regular fee candidates - October 7, 2020

Last date of registration with additional late fee - October 12, 2020

Re-opening of GOAPS portal for successfully registered candidates - October 28, 2020

Final closing of the registration process - November 13, 2020

The GOAPS portal will open for a one-time chance to change -
(i) Choice of Examination City – FREE of cost.
(ii) Choice of Paper – with extra 500. ₹
(iii) Category – with extra 500.

About GATE 2021

GATE is the entrance exam for students applying for Masters and Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture. Students can also apply for doctoral programs in relevant branches of Arts and Science. PSU's, too, use the examination as recruitment tests.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore and seven IITs at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee conduct the exam in CBT mode. The dates for GATE 2021 are February 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14. The admit cards for the GATE 2021 will be out on January 8, 2021.
